What to do & What Not to do:

  • Avoid tight clothing for 24 hours, let your skin breathe. Irritating your skin can cause ingrown hair. Try to not touch the area, it’s tempting to touch the smooth hair-free area, however, the germs on your hands can cause irritation, pimples or infections.

  • No steam room or soaking in water for at least two days, more if your skin is very sensitive. When your hair is removed from the root, the empty hair follicle is more prone to bacteria entering. â€‹

  • Exfoliate a few days after your service when your skin is no longer red or sensitive. Scrubbing away the dead skin cells will help prevent clogged pores which can lead to ingrown hairs. Exfoliating 2-3 times a week will keep your skin looking healthy and encourage the hair to point up and grow in the right direction. â€‹â€‹

  • No sexual intercourse prior to your appointment at least 24 hours after.

  • Keep the area moisturized.
